To find the EIN, first choose the charity, then click on the charity's name in the "Your Charity" box — the EIN is listed on the resulting page below the charity's address.

You can link to Bibliotarian search results for a specific book. The link format is http://bibliotarian.org/?isbn=X, where X is the ISBN of the book.

You can combine these features with a link in the format http://bibliotarian.org/?ein=X&isbn=Y.

Payouts
Checks will be mailed quarterly (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1) to charities with at least $20 to pay out. If a charity's earnings are less than $20, they will roll over to subsequent mailings until the $20 threshold has been achieved.

Eligibility
Currently, only certain U.S. organizations designated as 501(c)(3) public charities by the IRS are eligible to participate. These are the public charities possessing an unconditional tax exemption; classified as 170(b)(1)(A)(i-vi), 509(a)(2), or 509(a)(4) organizations; and to which donations are deductible. If you cannot find a charity meeting these criteria with our charity chooser, email charities@bibliotarian.org with the name and EIN of the charity.
